Summer Farm Fellowship
What if, after 9 months of intentional discipleship, our students could continue to grow while putting their new skills into practice?
The Planted Summer Fellowship allows them to do just that!
Any student who has completed or is currently in the Planted program is eligible to apply for this 3-month summer internship. Email david@plantedgapyear.org for an application.
During this internship students will work on the farm, caring for the animals, and cultivating the garden; help run a one week day camp at our host camp His Thousand Hills and help our staff prepare and improve the facilities for Planted's next program year.
By staying through the summer, students will get to experience running a homestead farm year round! This will include harvesting plants they started from seed, experiencing rotational grazing, caring for the animals born in the Spring and having greater responsibility managing the day-to-day operations of the farm.
They’ll also have opportunities to teach what they’ve learned to others by helping to run summer programming like a one week day camp!
This is a paid internship. Students will live on site and receive a small stipend. They’ll continue to enjoy the tight-knit community, relationships with staff, and ministry in their local church that were forged during their year at Planted.
Meet this year's student fellows!
